Vai Trò Của Giáo Dục Trong Công Cuộc Xây Dựng Đất Nước

Education has occupied a central place in Vietnamese social values across recorded history. The imperial examination system, modeled on Chinese precedents but adapted to Vietnamese administrative needs, created a meritocratic pathway to official status that persisted for nearly a millennium.

The colonial period brought both disruption and new institutional forms. French-administered schools introduced Western scientific and humanistic curricula alongside Vietnamese language instruction, producing a generation of intellectuals who would later lead independence movements.

Post-independence educational expansion achieved remarkable literacy gains, yet questions about curriculum quality, research capacity, and the relationship between education and economic development remain active areas of policy debate.
