It is not South Korea that wants to arm Ukraine. South Korea has no reason for doing so. It is USA using South Korea, against South Korea's will. South Korea does not want the situation in the neighborhood to get any worse. South Korea wants a peaceful and safe country for its citizens.

I read somewhere that due to domestic laws ROK (SK) cannot send weapons to Ukraine since there is an ongoing conflict but US bypassing those concerns sent Koreans weapons to Ukraine (via Poland).
And this move made many Korean policymakers unhappy.

sales to SK, then given to Poland and then to Ukraine.
