Donald Trump khi lập nội các đã chọn toàn những kẻ giàu từ bậc triệu phú đến tỉ phú đến nỗi người ta gọi nội các Trump là Câu Lạc Bộ Tỉ Phú !
Những kẻ cực giàu không do dân bầu nhưng (qua Trump) "chui" được vào trung tâm quyền lực Mỹ tất nhiên phải hành động cho lợi ích giai cấp của họ .
Đã có những nơi nghiên cứu về chính sách thuế phân tích đề xuất cải cách thuế của Trump, để cho thấy trong khi dân cực giàu sẽ được hưởng bạc triệu USD tiền giảm thuế, nhưng sẽ có những dân trung lưu phải đóng thêm thuế, vì Trump giảm thuế chỗ này, lại lấy thêm thuế chỗ khác bằng cách loại trừ các tín chỉ đặc miễn (tax credits.)
Những chi tiết này ta sẽ có dịp biết thêm khi đề xuất thuế của Trump được bàn cãi trong Quốc Hội .
Việc cụ thể là Trump đã bổ nhiệm vào chức Bộ Trưởng Y Tế ông Tom Price - mà ông này căm thù Obamacare và muốn tư nhân hóa Medicare, bảo hiểm y tế cho dân già .
Có nguy cơ nội các Trump sẽ tiêu diệt Obamacare. Nhưng nếu vậy thì sẽ không còn cách nào khác để cung cấp bảo hiểm y tế cho những kẻ có bệnh lý tiền lệ
mà các hãng bảo hiểm muốn gạt ra ngoài lề! Trong số này có khoảng 5 triệu dân Mỹ trắng, không bằng cấp đại học, đã bầu chọn Trump với hi vọng tình hình sẽ khá hơn ...
- nhưng họ chưa biết rằng chính họ đang bị Trump lừa bịp !
Một thí dụ cụ thể khác, là trường hợp hãng Carrier:
Trump làm vụ này như một "reality show for TV", một trò thực tế để lên TV lấy tiếng ! Thay vì thuơng thuyết đúng nghĩa, Trump đã hối lộ hãng này 7 triệu USD miễn thuế, (tăng từ 1,7 triệu USD miễn thuế trước đó, nhưng bị hãng này gạt phăng!) để giữ lại bang Indiana một phần, khoảng 800 đến 1000 công việc, không cho di dời sang Mexico .
Có cả hàng chục ngàn hãng Mỹ trong hoàn cảnh tương tự, mà nếu hãng nào cũng được ăn hối lộ tiền thuế như vậy, thì số thuế thất thoát sẽ xói mòn các phúc lợi xã hội của dân mà bọn Cộng Hòa từ trước đến nay đánh phá liên tục không ngừng !
Thêm nữa, nếu các hãng Mỹ, vì lí do cắt giảm chi phí lao động, vẫn sản xuất từ ngoài nước, mà bị áp thuế hải quan 35%-45% khi nhập hàng vào Mỹ, thì dân Mỹ sẽ phải mua hàng với giá cao hơn !
Như vậy,
Một là, dân Mỹ sẽ phải è cổ ra trả tiền thuế hối lộ, và chịu thiệt cho các chương trình phúc lợi xã hội, để các hãng Mỹ giữ công việc nội địa !
Hai là, dân Mỹ phải trả giá cao hơn cho những mặt hàng nhập từ ngoài, cũng do các hãng Mỹ sản xuất !
Đó là chưa kể đến việc các hãng Mỹ bị áp 35%-45% thuế hải quan sẽ thưa kiện Donald Trump vì chính sách kỳ thị hải quan (tại sao các hãng Âu Á đều không bị áp thuế nặng, mà chỉ riêng các hãng Mỹ do Trump chỉ định, mới bị ?)
và vụ việc này sẽ phải đưa ra trước Quốc Hội, và ngay cả trước Tòa Án Tối Cao, để bàn về tính hợp hiến, hợp pháp của chính sách áp đặt một chiều của Trump, đi ngược với tự do cạnh tranh toàn cầu !
Dù cho Trump có thắng kiện, thì cũng phải mất 30 năm mới cứu vớt được số công việc mà TT Obama đã cứu cho các hãng xe Mỹ chỉ trong vòng 1 năm !
Và với số công việc Mỹ đã mất đi kể từ năm 2000 thì Trump sẽ phải mất 100 năm mới lấy lại được !
Còn các công việc đã mất vì tự động hóa bởi robots thì khỏi lo - đừng hòng mà vớt vát !
Mỗi khi Trump đề xuất điều gì bịp bợm gây hại cho dân Mỹ thì y lại dùng Twitter để đánh lạc hướng nhân dân với những chiêu trò mị dân vớ vẩn như bỏ tù ai đốt cờ Mỹ, hay trách móc chương trình hài TV Saturday Night Live đã thiếu công bằng với y !
Nhân dân Mỹ cần để tâm hơn đến những phân tích xác thực về kinh tế chính trị, vì toàn dân Mỹ, nhất là các công dân da trắng ít học, đã và đang bị Donald Trump lừa gạt !
Đến cuối nhiệm kỳ của Trump thì mọi sự sẽ tệ hơn cho dân Mỹ !

Paul Krugman: Seduced and betrayed by Trump
Millions of white working class Americans don’t even realise they have been sucker punched, writes Paul Krugman .
Donald Trump won the Electoral College (though not the popular vote) on the strength of overwhelming support from working-class whites, who feel left behind by a changing economy and society. And they’re about to get their reward - the same reward that, throughout Trump’s career, has come to everyone who trusted his good intentions. Think Trump University.Yes, the white working class is about to be betrayed. The evidence of that coming betrayal is obvious in the choice of an array of pro-corporate, anti-labor figures for key positions. In particular, the most important story of the week - seriously, people, stop focusing on Trump Twitter - was the selection of Tom Price, an ardent opponent of Obamacare and advocate of Medicare privatization, as secretary of health and human services. This choice probably means that the Affordable Care Act is doomed - and Trump’s most enthusiastic supporters will be among the biggest losers.
The first thing you need to understand here is that Republican talk of “repeal and replace” has always been a fraud. The GOP has spent six years claiming that it will come up with a replacement for Obamacare any day now; the reason it hasn’t delivered is that it can’t. Obamacare looks the way it does because it has to: You can’t cover Americans with pre-existing conditions without requiring healthy people to sign up, and you can’t do that without subsidies to make insurance affordable. Any replacement will either look a lot like Obamacare, or take insurance away from millions who desperately need it. What the choice of Price suggests is that the Trump administration is, in fact, ready to see millions lose insurance. And many of those losers will be Trump supporters.
You can see why by looking at Census data from 2013 to 2015, which show the impact of the full implementation of Obamacare. Over that period, the number of uninsured Americans dropped by 13 million; whites without a college degree, who voted Trump by around two to one, accounted for about eight million of that decline (8 million of them are covered by Obamacare). So we’re probably looking at more than five million Trump supporters, many of whom have chronic health problems and recently got health insurance for the first time, who just voted to make their lives nastier, more brutish, and shorter.Why did they do it? They may not have realised that their coverage was at stake - over the course of the campaign, the news media barely covered policy at all. Or they may have believed Trump’s assurances that he would replace Obamacare with something great. Either way, they’re about to receive a rude awakening, which will get even worse once Republicans push ahead with their plans to end Medicare as we know it, which seem to be on even though the
president-elect had promised specifically that he would do no such thing.
And just in case you’re wondering, no, Trump can’t bring back the manufacturing jobs that have been lost over the past few decades. Those jobs were lost mainly to technological change, not imports, and they aren’t coming back.
There will be nothing to offset the harm workers suffer when Republicans rip up the safety net.Will there be a political backlash, a surge of buyer’s remorse? Maybe. Certainly Democrats will be well advised to hammer Trump’s betrayal of the working class nonstop. But we do need to consider the tactics that he will use to obscure the scope of his betrayal.
One tactic, which we’ve already seen with this week’s ostentatious announcement of a deal to keep some Carrier jobs in America, will be to distract the nation with bright, shiny, trivial objects. True, this tactic will work only if news coverage is both gullible and innumerate.No, Trump didn’t “stand up” to Carrier - he seems to have offered it a bribe. And we’re talking about a thousand jobs in a huge economy; at the rate of one Carrier-size deal a week, it would take Trump 30 years to save as many jobs as President Barack Obama did with the auto bailout; it would take him a century to make up for the overall loss of manufacturing jobs since 2000.But judging from the coverage of the deal so far, assuming that the news media will be gullible and innumerate seems like a good bet.
And if and when the reality that workers are losing ground starts to sink in, I worry that the Trumpists will do what authoritarian governments often do to change the subject away from poor performance: go find an enemy.Remember what I said about Trump Twitter. Even as he took a big step toward taking health insurance away from millions, Trump started ranting about taking citizenship away from flag-burners. This was not a coincidence.The point is to keep your eye on what’s important. Millions of Americans have just been sucker-punched. They just don’t know it yet.
