TOMS RIVER, N.J. - Một linh mục Công giáo lẫn trốn và chơi poker thuộc hạng quốc gia bị tóm vì hàng chục tội ấu dâm ở Pennsylvania là bây giờ đang trong một nhà tù New Jersey.

Kevin A. Gugliotta, 54 tuổi, ở Totowa, N.J., bị bắt ngày 21 tháng 10, đã bị tước hết chức vụ của mình tại nhà thờ Chúa Thánh Thần ở Union, N.J., giới thẩm quyền với Tổng Giáo Phận Newark xác nhận hôm thứ Tư.

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — A fugitive Catholic priest and nationally ranked poker player wanted on dozens of child-pornography-related charges in Pennsylvania is now in a New Jersey jail.

Kevin A. Gugliotta, 54, of Totowa, N.J., who was arrested Oct. 21, has been removed from his ministry at Holy Spirit Church in Union, N.J., officials with the Archdiocese of Newark confirmed Wednesday.

A criminal docket from a Wayne County, Pa., magisterial court listed 20 allegations against Gugliotta of possessing or viewing child pornography and 20 more of disseminating photographs or video of child sex acts. According to court records, all 40 alleged offenses occurred July 9.
